For the longest time my theory about Bay-Area music was "If it's not hyphy, it's shit" and then I came across ME GUSTA. This production duo, who come up with unconceivable mash-ups and video game based tracks, credit their creativity to "genres from across the spectrum". Part Girl Talk, Part Sega Genesis; ME GUSTA's Sean Richards and Dominic Lopez make memorable dance tracks that speak volumes about their broad range of influences. Their remix of The Smith's "There Is A Light That Never Goes Out" is enough to get the most downtrodden of goth kids to crump. Check out ME GUSTA at their MySpace, where you can also download some of their singles and their two mixtapes.
