When this trailer opened with a childs version of Lawrence Fishburne's gentrification speech in "Boyz N The Hood" I knew this move had potential. Then I saw Black Thought (Tariq Trotter) and proceeded to glue my eyes to the screen. "Explicit Ills" offers audiences a view into an all too real world that lays within our grasp. Actress Rosario Dawson always shines in these gritty roles, so I have high hopes for this film. Though this movie is in limited release currrently, you'll probably be able to find it in Blockbuster in the coming months.

It looks great, but Rosario Dawson i could do without. Although, this could be my turning point on Dawson. Like Hugh Jackman, a little annoyed by him from time to time, but he pulls through every once in a while.
