Alexander Ovechkin
The 2004 1st overall draft pick Alexander Ovechkin (pictured above with, what could only be, a Russian super-model) is what hockey needed after years of players without personality or character. Constantly joking in broken english, exploding into celebrations and filling his trophy room Ovie is a perfect poster-boy. Sidney Crosby is definitely skilled, I'll give him that, but has as much personality as a piece of cardboard.
