Magic In The Air

Starting Tuesday the magic that makes up Las Vegas will be intensified. No gigantic-douche Criss Angel is not performing something that bend the reality blah blah blah, The MAGIC Marketplace is this week. Magic is a trade-show for fashion retailers held annually since 1933. In 2007 "Progressive Streetwear" became another area of this show featuring "art-based, revolutionary brands with specialized distribution channels." This year the streetwear category has been divided into Street and S.L.A.T.E .(Select Lifestyle Apparel Trend Emergence). Street covers the ever growing smaller companies that are coming out with influences like MMA, Skateboarding, and Hip-Hop. S.L.A.T.E. consists of a select handful of exhibitors that are at the top of streetwear. Adding to the aesthetic value; every booth will be made of raw and natural materials and have an airy open feeling to them. I can't wait to see photos from this one throughout the blogosphere.
