Michel Gondry has an uncanny ability to pull me into his "Mindbending Journeys". Gondry unleashes what looks to be yet another cinematic treat this time using his family as the background. "The Thorn In The Heart" premiered at the 2009 Cannes Film Festival and is hopefully getting wider distribution in summer 2010.

Bacon's Heyday
First I posted Baconnaise, the bacon flavoured mayonaise, then Bacon Lip Balm. Now I bring to you "Bakon". The "superior quality potato vodka with a savoury bacon flavour" is the newest in a long line of bacon-enhanced products. How did bacon become such an overnight hit? In the past he was just eggs' side-kick, at best equal. Now he has become foods' everyman. Topping over priced gourmet dishes or providing breakfast at a homeless shelter. Bacon is everywhere. Loved by hipsters and hiphoppers alike. As the world becomes more bacon-friendly, I like to believe everyone gets a bit closer. Now someone whip me up a Bakon and orange juice!

Five years ago I remember going to visit a Billionaire Boys Club sweater at Ransom and just waiting for it's price to drop. It made me come back six or seven times. Death Comedy Jam
Petedubs, the maker of the ZachMorrisism Box Office Smash "Restraint", is back with another buddy-comedy. This time starring the recently deceased. Chronicling Patrick Swayze and Michael Jackon's journey to celebrity heaven this animated short is chalk full of crude laughs. Choppy animation, cringe-worthy jokes and mediocre celebrity impressions all remind me of early episodes of South Park. Made with Andy Delisi, this short makes light of the celebrity world without going down a cliche route. What's next for Pete? A music video maybe?
